'Raison D'être' manifests as a sonic amalgamation of acoustic instrumentation, field recordings, and audio derived from analog-digital hardware-inspired creativity. Diverging from previous albums, there is a deliberate omission of explanations regarding the rationale behind specific artistic choices. Nevertheless, subtle motifs of minimalism, classical music, and off-tempo compositional selections pervade the work. Was this intentional? Undoubtedly. Each sonic motif within this album is a purposeful creation, showcasing the composer's intricacies and objective, analytical mastery.

It never ceases to astonish Andrés Steiner how certain critics audaciously pass judgment on the artistry of others, particularly when it becomes apparent that the critic is not a musician, rather a very opinionated voice of "truth." Defining music becomes a contemplative exercise; what constitutes a good musical piece? Is it tonality, harmony, melody, percussion, or the clarity of compositional arrangement? Does complexity surpass minimalism in musical merit? While a rapid cascade of notes can evoke complexity and excitement, the impact of a sustained single note raises profound questions about the essence and potential impact of simplicity.
